Babyfaced boy revisited
Ah. So his name is Luke Cleary. The babyfaced boy whose pic I once posted. And he is not as goodlooking as that pic would indicate at all. Which I realized after he was featured in multiple pics on one of the blogs I follow a couple of days ago. However that very pic, as well as one or two others, remind me of the very angelic best of Brewer twins. Delightful.. delicious.. delovely.

Dream stuff
like shirtless Fuzzy in blue sheets and D. Monkey outdoing B. Pitt - and much more - is where I've been today. Relaxing because I'm sick. I spent the day on the internet watching the boys' videos which for some reason I hadn't been able to comfortably watch before due to transmission delays. I have no clue if it's because of the Easter holiday and people being away from their PCs or my watching the videos directly at vimeo but I managed to actually see and hear at least 95% of the content of each. I had a great time.
I much needed that time out. I had loads to do at work in the week before Easter, and came home exhausted practically every night. Then, although I did start the weekend on Saturday, I also wanted to clean up the garden at least around the entrance to the house to make it look welcoming for the holiday. It took me all Saturday. I dragged bags of soil to less visible spots, I raked, swept, and finally cleaned out two large pots and planted some pansies. I barely noticed that, although sunny, it wasn't all that warm outside, and I did start out with my hair completely wet from the shower. When I finally sat down after dark, I realized that not only my back was hurting so much I almost couldn't move, but suddenly my nose was also running. A lot. It really went downhill from there. I spent Easter Sunday first recuperating from all the effort and then, towards the evening, developing a fever. Consequently, today I had to stay inside trying to get rid of it. Except for enjoying the videos and pics I didn't have much fun, drinking hot tea, a calcium solution with vitamin C and blowing my nose all day. I couldn't even eat. I am feeling slightly better by now, though, so hopefully I'll be back on my feet tomorrow.

Babyface
I have no idea why Chris posted this guy's pic in his latest sexy boy Tuesday selection because he's so much not his type, as far as I imagine. But he did. Perhaps he overlooked him the way he overlooks things sometimes. And perhaps he likes babyfaced boys whose highlights make you want to ask how much do you charge now and then. I mean he once admitted to paying two hundred bucks for a massage. But don't we all secretly indulge in things? I do. And so tonight I'm buying this fine pup because I, too, need to look at something pretty once in a while.

Russian men - a style exercise
I never thought much of them, in the sense I've never given them much thought. Their homeland has long been a dead end disaster - why would anyone want to touch that.
Now there's a roommate of one of the bloggers I read. Lives in New York and has men of all colors, shapes and sizes available to choose from. Yet she used to obsess over a Russian man. Why would that be, I wondered? What is so seriously wrong with her that she wants a Russian guy for keeps?
Then, at work, at three separate times, I saw men who were different from those I usually see in that they were, well.. hot. What you would initially associate with Italian style hot - dark, somewhat hairy, sensual. (One was actually more blond but wore a cute hat, and also a cool hippie style outfit.) However, unlike Italians, they were very quiet. Wouldn't talk, just body language. Relaxed. This made them even hotter.
They all turned out to be Russian.
I was able to compare them with actual Italians who also showed up one day and boy, did the Italians fail to make an impression. Not only were they twice as old as the Russians. One of them smiled a lot and was a profuse and smooth talker but his content was sadly predictable. His companion, albeit handsome, was so arrogantly dissatisfied and uninterested in anything beyond his own comfort that my instant silent response was "yuck!".
While the Russians just sort of stood there, silent and looking good, and when they finally spoke, they were unassuming and polite, with just a hint of that notorious untamed nature showing. You know, open to things but not bragging about it. I tell you, they had me there.
I have no idea how they turn out as long term mates in the context of being immigrants in the US but yes. I see how you can be attracted to a Russian man.

Miss Marple and Mr Murray
Just watched Miss Marple: The Sittaford Mystery (2006) starring, among others, James Murray as the bad boy as well as James Wilby whom I did not recognize but only found out after reading the reviews. Apparently, the movie was a horrible disappointment to Agatha Christie's fans because it was not faithful to the book.
Still, blue eyed James Murray looked very seductive throughout, and he, as well as the plot, kept me in front of the screen for the full two hours. Which is very unusual, as I almost never watch fiction, but to be expected from a viewer - well, me - trying to comprehend a plot by Agatha Christie. There were so many characters, all involved in their own little intrigues, that I couldn't even remember their names, not to mention what their past and present interactions could possibly mean. I just sat there, stunned, and watched the costumes, make-up, hair and set design. Patricia Hodge was also in it. I think I'll be watching more Hallmark channel these coming weeks, I miss the English period movies. They are always so impeccable. So was James Murray in his high collar and trench coat, all buttoned up, hair cut and combed. Pretty and as English as they come. He's actually from Manchester.
